Kindergarten (Ms.Fuhr)

Hello! 

My name is Lauren Fuhr and the kids call me Mrs. Fuhr. This is my first year at ACORN Woodland, but my 9th year teaching kindergarten! I'm originally from the Sacramento area, but came to the Bay for college at UC Berkeley. I spent the past decade living and teaching in Washington, D.C. and am just returning home to California with my husband and my cat, Ginger. I truly love working with our earliest learners as they turn letters and sounds into words and sentences and discover the power of numbers. 

In my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family. I look forward to working with you this year!
